Motorhome Experiences of Judy and Lyle Dean Lebsack

We made the 10 a.m. bridge opening to get out of Charlevoix.  Then, about an hour's ride along the shore of Little Traverse Bay to Bay Harbor.  This once quarry has been transformed into a spa for the rich and famous, with beyond-elegant homes.  However, they let common folks in, too.  That's how we got here.  At left is the entrance to Bay Harbor, with Kat Nap, one of our group, entering.

Bay Harbor Marina service is about the best you could hope for, with a young, enthusiastic staff.

Steve and Joyce aboard Sea Haven arrived ahead of thunderstorms--that missed us anyway.

We made arrangements to have dinner at the Bay Harbor Yacht Club, an amazingly beautiful place with food to match.  The photo to the left is from the Yacht Club looking at Madonna's home and boat.  Next photo shows Judy and Lyle just before their food arrived.  No photos of that!

Another view from our terrace dining spot at the Yacht Club.  Then, a photo of one of the "cottages" on our walk back to the marina.  Yes, it IS a single family home.

We met up with another Skipper Bud's cruising couple, Mike and Tracey, plus another boat "Current Obsession" will join us for the harbor hop back home.

Bay Harbor is a perfect place to spend a few days, relax and recharge.
